The Shark Money trust standard

Fast. Accurate.
Sourced. Independent.

Trust is part of the product. Shark Money separates verified facts from explanation, interpretation from advice, and independent editorial work from anything a sponsor pays for.

Coverage cannot be bought.

Commercial relationships do not enter the Shark Alert scoring, selection, fact-checking, or correction system.

Editorial

Independent research

  • A company cannot pay to receive Shark Alert or editorial coverage.
  • Advertisers do not choose headlines, scores, conclusions, timing, or placement.
  • Company comments may be considered as a source, but do not replace independent verification.
  • Corrections remain under editorial control and cannot be negotiated as a commercial benefit.

Every Shark Alert

Evidence before opinion.

The reader should never have to guess which sentence came from a source, which came from a model, or where Shark Money is making a judgment.

People with early access

Personal-trading controls

Anyone with access to unpublished Shark Alerts may not trade ahead of, front-run, or exploit that information. The operating policy calls for account disclosure, pre-clearance where appropriate, restricted lists, event-based blackout windows, and documented review of exceptions and violations.

No quiet buying before a blast.
Information, not allocations

Impersonal filtering

Users may filter general information by sector, filing size, contract value, insider activity, or other factual conditions. Shark Money does not turn those filters into individualized instructions about how much a particular person should buy, sell, or allocate.

A disclaimer does not decide legal status; the actual service does.
Permanent record

Corrections stay visible

Material corrections and retractions remain attached to the original canonical URL with the date and public reason. We do not silently erase a failed alert or overwrite its history to protect a score.

Accuracy includes admitting when the record changes.
Primary guidance

Built against the public record.

These sources explain why the wall matters. They are reference points, not a substitute for advice from qualified securities and advertising counsel about a specific campaign or service.

Shark Money provides general educational and editorial information. This standard does not itself determine whether any legal exclusion, exemption, registration status, or disclosure rule applies to a particular activity.
