What we collect

Information you submit directly, including membership and newsletter details, founder contact information, company facts, interview topics, capital context, investor preferences, and links you choose to provide.

Basic technical and security information may be processed by our hosting and service providers to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and protect the service.

Do not submit passwords, bank or brokerage statements, tax records, government identifiers, subscription documents, or information you are not authorized to share.

How we use it

We use submitted information to operate the requested service: review an interview pitch, respond to a Founder Desk request, evaluate whether a professional connection may be possible, maintain service records, and protect against misuse.

A founder interview request is an editorial pitch, not a promise of coverage. A capital request is a private professional-networking request, not an investment recommendation, brokerage service, placement engagement, or guarantee of an introduction or funding.

When information is shared

Founder capital requests are reviewed internally. We will contact the founder before sharing a nonpublic company identity, deck, request details, or proposed introduction note with an external person.

We may use infrastructure and service providers that process information for us, and we may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect people or the service, investigate abuse, or complete a business transition. We do not sell Founder Desk submissions.

Retention and deletion

Founder Desk submissions receive a retention-review date 12 months after receipt. We may delete or de-identify a request sooner when it is no longer useful, or retain a limited record longer when reasonably necessary for security, dispute, legal, or consent-history purposes.

You may ask to access, correct, or delete a submission by emailing crew@sharkmoneyyachtclub.com from the address used in the request and including the reference number. We may need to verify the request before acting.

Choices and safeguards

You can choose not to provide optional fields. Contact permission, editorial acknowledgements, and introduction-sharing approval are separate decisions. An initial capital request does not authorize external sharing.

We use access controls and reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Use access-controlled document pages and never place a password or secret directly in a URL.

Updates and contact

We may update this notice as the service changes. The version accepted with a Founder Desk submission is recorded with that request. Material changes will be reflected by a new version date.
